In cooperation with specialised companies, we also offer the execution of textile structures as a general contractor.
Professor Nikolai Kugel is the managing director of VaryTex GmbH. After studying architecture at the University of Stuttgart, he worked there as a research assistant at the Institute of Building Structures and Structural Design and set up his own business as an architect. He deepened his focus on structural design and took on a lectureship in structural engineering at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart from 2000 to 2007, and from 2014 to 2016 he taught lightweight construction at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. In 2022, he was appointed Professor of Structural Engineering and Design at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences.
