In many cities, there is currently a new need for covered bicycle parking spaces. Increasing bicycle traffic requires suitable bicycle parking spaces in the urban fabric, for example at the start of pedestrian zones or at train stations. Even in densely built-up residential areas without sufficient bicycle storage, there is a growing need for parking spaces in public areas to park bicycles and keep them conveniently available for residents.

Our CityRack was developed with the idea of replacing a car parking space with as many bicycle parking spaces as possible. On a base area of 3m x 4m, 18 bicycles can be parked protected by a canopy. The steel construction requires no foundations and can also be erected temporarily and at short notice. The bicycles are suspended from the front wheel in a staggered arrangement. The proven and tested “Steadyrack” system uses a swivel-mounted bracket so that adjacent bikes can be folded slightly to the side for easy parking and retrieval. The protective membrane roof is spanned between two large rings that characterize the design of the CityRack. The structure is designed to be stable in accordance with the standard and can be easily adapted to uneven ground with adjustable feet.

The first examples of the CityRack have already been successfully installed. The colours of the steel elements are freely selectable, and various colours and materials are also available for the membrane of the protective roof. We look forward to receiving your inquiries!
